For Jobseekers:

  • Name, email address, and contact details
  • CVs, covering letters, work history, and job preferences
  • Diversity and inclusion data (optional)
  • Account activity and login data
  • IP address and browser/device information

For Employers and Partners:

  • Business name and contact information
  • Key contact person (name, email, role)
  • Employer account usage and billing info
  • Job postings and content submitted

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and manage your account
  • To enable job applications and communication with employers
  • To tailor our platform and resources to your preferences
  • To improve our platform and services
  • To carry out our responsibilities under contracts with employers and members

We do not sell your data. Ever.

  • Employers or organisations you apply to via the Job Board
  • Our verification partners and contractors (e.g. training providers)

We ensure all third parties respect your privacy and comply with data protection laws.

We do not routinely transfer your data outside the UK. If we ever need to (e.g. using third-party services based abroad), we will ensure your data is protected with appropriate safeguards in place.

7. How Long We Keep Your Data

We only keep personal data for as long as necessary:

  • Jobseeker account data: up to 24 months of inactivity
  • Employer/member data: for the duration of the membership plus 6 years
  • Financial records: for at least 6 years (legal requirement)
  • Any diversity or special category data: deleted or anonymised after 12 months

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights under data protection law:

  • To access a copy of your data
  • To request correction of inaccurate data
  • To request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • To object to processing or request restriction
  • To withdraw consent at any time (where applicable)
  • To lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
